It's Awesome to be a (Walnut) Teacher!

5th of September is one of the most important days at Walnut School. This is the day which commemorates the teacher. The teacher who has steadily been responsible for creating a skilled next generations for thousands of years. A person who has shouldered the responsibility of being there for her/his students whenever the need arises. As we have mentioned before, the teacher stands right after the mother for a child.

But, we believe that we need to respect this revered profession on a daily basis. Through our education system, we keep instilling these thoughts into our children at Walnut School. We hope that someday, some students will voluntarily choose this profession, and carry on the beacon of light that their teachers have carried for them.

Our teachers feel really happy to be part of the Walnut team. They are respected and learn something new all the time

We picked this day to get together, have a fun morning, and let our hair down.

It is really awesome to be a teacher (at Walnut School)! 🙂

Happy Teacher’s day to all the passionate teachers out there!

The week that led to the Diwali Carnival

As the exams were over, there was a week to spare to the start of the Diwali break. We had to get the children into the holiday mood and get preparations underway for the Grand Diwali Carnival. What a week it was! Looking back we can safely say that it was ‘Family Fun’ for Team Walnut – the students, the staff and the parents too!

Teaming up for Science!

Our Walnut kids recently had the opportunity to showcase their imagination, inventive skills and creativity when a science fair was organized for them. It was a great way for them to get to know more about how the world around them works. Preparing for the fair was a great way of active learning for the students.
