With good planning right from the beginning along with excellent learning strategies and constant upgradation of the curriculum, Walnut students are way ahead of their peers.
Focus
- Extra focus on reading from Nursery to Std 4 helps tremendously in academic understanding
- Dedicated creative writing activities in Std 1 and 2 help develop skills to build up on points and express themselves in their own words.
- Mental math classes from Std 1 all the way up to Std. 10 help with conceptual understanding. Students approach problems more confidently, make fewer mistakes.
- Using novels as an English textbook in middle school further strengthens their language and expression, which helps in all academic subjects.
- There are special periods once a week to learn note taking, strategic thinking, try out concepts of science and math and speak and argue.
- All this helps develop skills that help with grasping concepts, quick thinking and analysis. That helps our students understand better and faster.
Go through the chart and see how our students are a year ahead of students from other schools. That also gives them a lot more time to write more prelims in the 10th and even better board results!
You can see in the cells marked in yellow, that is where they are a year ahead. The cells marked in orange are two years ahead. The SPECIAL curriculum marked in red is absolutely amazing. The details of those are written in the box alongside.

* – Students learn from content that has been specially created by Dr. Arpita Karkare for Walnut School. Talk to us to know more!
- Get exposure to a lot of skills in a systematic, incremental way.
- Begin understanding that the special subjects that they are learning are not taught anywhere else – in schools or in hobby classes.
- Get a lot of opportunities to formally demonstrate these skills to an audience and even improve on their presentation skills.
- Get to see compounding effects of a very systematic plan that works on all skills to make the students agile, confident and smart.
- They start seeing vast differences between a Walnut student and a non-Walnut student.
- Walnut students express themselves better, have a lot of ideas of their own, are more confident to take the lead and do better in all kinds of activities.
- The planned learning system is amazing. It incrementally builds up on all the skills and they all complement each other.
- The improvement that we see in the students is absolutely amazing.
- Nowhere are school students doing these kinds of things. Here it’s all hardcore stuff that happens nowhere else and it makes a world of a difference.
Walnut School students are ahead of their peers in other schools in reading and writing, have a better vocabulary and fluency in English, and are better equipped to handle the CBSE curriculum. Walnut students are significantly “smarter” than their peers – academically, physically and even with respect to the overall enthusiasm to participate in any activity
Being ahead of their peers also means that students can more easily understand and engage with the content presented to them. They are able to process information more quickly and accurately. These students have a competitive edge when it comes to future academic and career opportunities as they are more likely to be recognized for their exceptional abilities and have access to more advanced courses, internships, and career opportunities.
We’ve observed that students who join us early benefit the most from our experience. They exhibit higher confidence and performance compared to their non-Walnut peers. Our innovative learning system, combined with a stress-free environment, helps our students develop agile and sharp minds, deep knowledge, and understanding, which allows them to excel in all aspects of their lives.
This accelerated program starts right from Nursery. The difference is seen more and more as the years progress. This achievement not only brings pride to the students but also gives them a sense of confidence and self-esteem, which helps them excel in their future academic endeavors.
