Our U17 boys from the Shivane campus are through to the next round of the Subroto Mukherjee Football Cup — and neither match was handed to them.
A clean win in the first round and a penalty shootout in the second. The kind of composure that only comes from playing every single day — not just before a tournament.
Subroto Mukherjee Cup — U-15 boys win opening round
2–0 in the opening round. Clean sheet.
The U-15 boys from the Wakad campus opened their Subroto Mukherjee Football Cup campaign with a comfortable win over Academic Heights International School.
Two goals scored, none conceded — a controlled start to the tournament. That is two Walnut campuses now competing in the Subroto Cup this year, with the Shivane U-17 boys also progressing through their rounds.
When every student plays sport every day, the school does not have to scramble to put a team together for a tournament. The squad is ready because the training never stopped.
