Scholarship 2024–25: Merit Cut-Off Achievers

Ten students from across all three campuses made it to the Maharashtra State Scholarship Exam merit list in 2024–25. This is a state-level exam attempted by thousands of students every year — making the cutoff requires sustained effort, sharp thinking and consistent preparation over months.

This is a major academic milestone. These students got the right guidance, they put in the work and the results speak for themselves.

Behind every one of these results is a journey of systematic preparation, unwavering dedication and the right environment. Our students have not just cleared the cutoff — they have placed among the top performers in one of Maharashtra’s most competitive examinations.

The merit list

Std. 5 achievers

  • Dhaval Jedhedeshmukh — Shivane Campus
  • Devansh Mangtani — Wakad Campus
  • Neal Gijare — Wakad campus
  • Neev Ainapure — Wakad Campus
  • Asmi More — Wakad Campus
  • Aarav Dhimmar — Wakad Campus

Std. 8 achievers

  • Swara Bhopatkar — Shivane Campus
  • Shreyas Patake — Shivane Campus
  • Shreya More — Shivane Campus
  • Rishal Gandra — Fursungi Campus

Every year, thousands of students from Maharashtra attempt this exam. Making it to the merit list is not just about being smart — it’s about being disciplined, focused and consistent in effort. This is not one of those competitive exams where everyone gets some award just for participating. The merit list is small and these students earned their place on it.

Systematic, not stressful

The academic pressure on students across India is real. What makes Walnut different is that our CBSE-aligned curriculum is integrated with practical routines and structured thinking from a very young age.

From Std. 1 onward, students at Walnut are exposed to mental maths, strategic thinking, hands on experiments in science, reading coaching, speaking programmes, Walmiki quizzes and test bytes. Early exposure to these elements builds readiness for exams like the Maharashtra State Scholarship Exam.

The scholarship preparation programme

These students have been part of our scholarship preparation programme which runs from April to February — 11 months of dedicated preparation.

Weekly theory sessions Structured learning with guidance every week
MCQ practice Regular practice with multiple-choice questions
Mock exams Prelims and mock exams for real exam experience
Walmiki app Guided self-study via our learning app

They don’t just revise — they learn how to solve complex problems, think critically, analyse questions, manage their time and apply strategic thinking under pressure.
