On this National Sports Day 2024, as we honour the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand and promote sports and physical fitness across India, we are thrilled to celebrate the victorious journey of our U14 Boys Volleyball Team from Walnut School, Fursungi – one of the top CBSE schools in Pune!
The team showcased exceptional skill and determination, advancing through each round with remarkable performances:
1st Round: Bye (2nd position in last year’s championship)
2nd Round: Victory against Sant Yadav Baba School with a score of 7/0, 15/6
3rd Round: Triumphed over Muktai School, winning 15/9, 15/6
4th Round: Overcame Purogami School, in a thrilling match, 15/10, 13/15, 15/4
Finals: Clinched 1st place against Amar Education School with a hard-fought 12/10, 18/16 victory
This incredible achievement has earned our team a well-deserved spot at the district-level DSO volleyball matches.
A huge congratulations to our young champions for their dedication, teamwork, and spirit! We’re immensely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to cheering them on as they take on new challenges at the District level.

District champions : Fursungi’s U17 Volleyball team tops Pune!
Our U17 Volleyball team from the Fursungi campus has done it again! They’ve secured 1st place in the Pune district tournament and are now gearing up for the inter-district DSO matches.
Raising against hundreds of teams with mostly 11th and 12th-standard players, our young stars (who are all below 10th standard) have fought their way to the top. Bravo!
