Nakul Tajne and Krushna Uphale of Walnut School Fursungi come back as winners in the Kickboxing District competition. The students of Std 4 and 2 respectively share their journey toward this achievement.
Arpita Karkarey shared her thoughts with a large group of school founders, administrators and principals at a conference at the Sheraton in Pune about getting our children ready for the digital age. When we don’t really know and can’t predict what lies ahead, how can we prepare our children for that tomorrow?
Arpita Karkare Madam had gone to visit the peaceful and green Fursungi Campus of Walnut School. As there are hardly any buildings in the immediate vicinity, it’s very breezy, even during the peak summer months. On this monsoon day, it was absolutely beautiful! The kids had just finished their snacks early and had some time before they had to go back to their class. Even though she had meetings lined up in the school ,looking at those kids, she just couldn’t move ahead. She absolutely HAD to chat with them a bit.
The academic year will end on the 13th of April and will commence on the 15th of June for all primary and secondary students. As you know, at Walnut we are continuously in the effort to impart quality education to our students. For this, we have arranged for “Core Concept Strengthening” classes for English and Mathematics for the children.
