Uniforms at Walnut School are different. The aim is to make comfortable and attractive uniform for boys as well as girls which they could use for the whole day – including for sports. So, we made T-shirts and track pants for girls as well as boys.
The T-shirt, the track pants, the socks and the ID card, are given in the school itself. Shoes, which need to be jet black and completely closed have to be bought from outside. Any brand and type of shoes will do, but black sneakers are necessary for Std. 2 and up, as they are comfortable for playing sports.
Girls with long hair should use clips, hair bands or scrunchies to keep their hair neat and in place. All these accessories have to be black in colour. For girls, hair longer than shoulder length must be in plaits.
We encourage cleanliness and neatness in our students, as it helps build good habits and also builds a good first impression when our students go places for competitions.
