Janmashtami, or ‘Dahi Handi’ as it is more popularly known, is celebrated with great festivity at Walnut school. This event is special as the KG tots dress up as ‘Bal Gopals’ representing Lord Krishna. The children wear peacock feathers made out of paper as head gears. The celebration continues as the adorable ‘Bal Gopals’ built human pyramids with a little twist by taking help of the teachers. The best part of the event is that each Bal Gopal is lifted up in air so that they can enjoy the thrill of reaching the handi which is hung at a height.
